The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear

Merry Christmas everyone!

If anyone plans to do a short Christmas run today, I have updated the “What I’m Running To” Page with a short Christmas Run Mix.

So far I am two for two with Marathon training.  Since day 1 fell on a Monday, the marathon schedule called for cross-training.  I did a short easy hike with my family and then a treadmill interval training when I got home to complete the day.

To stay in the holiday spirit (and get through the 2 miles on my least favorite cardio machine) I watched some of The Santa Claus and listened to My Christmas Run Mix.

On Christmas Eve we go to my Aunt and Uncle’s house to celebrate.  Ever since Eric started joining our holiday celebrations we have stuck to the tradition of him playing the piano and my cousins singing.  Eric is able to play songs by request without reading sheet music and my cousins have beautiful voices, so it has become a fun and awesome tradition that I look forward to every year.

I wish I took more pictures or videos!

Today, even though it was Christmas, I had to stick to the marathon training schedule.  Since it’s only the first week of training it is still easy, and I only had to run 3 miles.  So I left this:

For this:

And quickly ran 3 miles.

2 days down, 123 to go!

Now it’s time to enjoy time with family! I hope that everyone has a wonderful day with family and friends! Merry Christmas! x0x0
