I have to be honest… this week has been a little bit SPORADIC in terms of training…work has been insane, and this little encounter with Chemistry took a turn for the worst (as in the academic advisor advised my to sign up for the wrong class, and the class I had signed up for doesn’t count towards my pre-requisites). So overall, if April 27th comes around and I have to blame a week of training for anything less than a PR, this week would be it. BUT I’ve loved training so far, and there are still plenty of weeks left to make up for the sporadicness that has been occurring this week. Starting tomorrow the plan is to get back into the swing of things. For tonight, I’m snowed in with this guy:

This guy, commonly referred to on here as Batman, is a pretty fun Nemo date, but he’s pre-occupied with the Knicks right now, so I thought I would explain how he came to be Batman.
He’s a bit of an enigma, and apparently would prefer to remain this way. If you look to earlier posts, his true identity may or may not have been revealed in various contexts, but from here on out he’s Batman.
Here’s the background: About 4 and a half years ago, around the time that we started dating, I was Batman/Batgirl for Halloween and got this awesome Batman flashlight. The Batman flashlight projected the batman signal on surfaces when it was on:
It was a big hit and soon become somewhat of an inside joke. Whenever an emergency came up, such as me locking myself out of my car in the Planet Fitness parking lot, or just being in a situation that we wouldn’t want to be in we’d “batman signal” each other for rescuing. Four and a half years later, this guy seems to still be coming to my rescue for all things big and small. So far this reason, for all intensive purposes, I’ll continue to refer to him as Batman.
The “batman signal” continues to be useful, and just the other day, when I could not figure out the song that was stuck in my head, that I absolutely have to run to in the near future, I “batman signaled” Batman and he came up with it in a matter of seconds. As is necessary with all big snowstorms, Batman and I ordered delicious take-out food and are going to watch movies for the rest of the night. After we ate Chinese food and opened our fortune cookies, though, I got this fortune:
What a coincidence! After having a sporadic week of training, I think I will “work a little harder.”
